Linking your Microsoft Bing profile with Google Business Listing is a good technique for building a business profile from scratch but without going through the elaborate process of pulling elements from various sources.

Although the syncing process takes some time to complete, it is more time-saving than other means of updating your business profile. In addition, these steps will help you cruise through the whole syncing process and eliminate possible problems in the long run. 

  • For current users without a Microsoft Bing account, start by going to bingplaces.com and signing in for a new account. 
  • Once you have signed in, it will prompt you to either import an existing account from Google My Business or add a new business profile manually.
  • For those with an existing GMB account, tick off the pop-up message so you can sync all your data before logging in to Google My Business.
  • Sign in to your Google account. 
  • Allow access to bingplaces.com.
  • Select the specific Google account business you want to connect to your new business profile. 
  • You need to create a new user account. However, this step can be skipped by clicking the Google Account button. It will create a new user and register the business using the same email address.
  • Verify the profile information and click “Save.”
  • Fort users without a current physical address listed in their Google My Business profile, you need to fill in the information by clicking the “Missing Address” button. If you have the data previously saved, click on “Review Address” if it needs updating. 
  • Google Business Listing allows you to add a personal address, but it can be hidden during the Business Listing setup. First, you need to press the “Edit” button and add the address.
  •  Add a personal address and click “Next.”
  • Add a description of your business using the “Segment of Business” field and select the relevant business type and “Primary Category.”
  • Choose to hide the address from the search results once the next tab appears and click “Next” to go to the next page.
  • You can now personalise your new GMB and Bing Places profile by customising the business logo and hours. 

Please note that it takes a couple of weeks for your profile to appear using the Bing search. However, once your business is added, it will receive an email notification with our business link on the Bing Maps page.
